When you book the Laugavegur trail with us, you embark on the entire journey all the way to Skógar. Unlike others who offer a 6-day version ending with a day walk to the craters Magni and Móði, our itinerary crosses the Fimmvörðuháls pass. This approach not only makes the crossing easier and safer by shortening the daily walks, but also allows you to experience the breathtaking 20 waterfalls of Skógá. With us, you complete the whole trek rather than stopping in Þórsmörk. Without crossing the Fimmvörðuháls pass, the journey simply isn’t complete.
Smaller Groups for a Better Experience
We believe in maintaining an intimate and comfortable group setting. Our absolute maximum number of participants is 14, compared to other operators who allow up to 16. This smaller group size fosters a more personal and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Dedicated Team and Flexible Support
Our team includes two staff members, with our driver playing an active role throughout your adventure. Beyond transporting luggage, the driver assists with meal preparation and ensures guests are entertained and well looked after. Should any participant feel tired or unwell, there is always the option to take the vehicle for a day and rejoin the group at the next hut. The vehicle and driver are dedicated solely to our group, ensuring your comfort and convenience, and we never transport luggage for multiple groups at once.

Our guides are not only highly experienced with years of expertise, but also hold relevant qualifications such as the Wilderness First Responder certification and the local Mountain Leader Award or equivalent.
